Historic Huntsville was the land of Trappers and Settlers back in the day. The Shooting Star Saloon still stands in its original building. Nostalgia is ignited in this Western town with pancake breakfasts in the park, a 4th of July Parade through downtown, children playing outside, warm weekend beaches, Christmas caroling, ice fishing, snowmobiling and ice skating in the Winter.
Huntsville is a mixture of small town charm, high-end resort amenities and rural farm land. The concept of “Green Acres” exists here. Snowbasin Ski Area is a sister resort to Sun Valley, Idaho. Snowbasin has high speed gondolas that comfortably transport skiers to the top of the mountain, over and over again, to guarantee as many runs in a day as your legs can manage. Snowbasin delivers top of the line of everything.
It’s simply hard to leave this place.
